Düsenberg!

So... I just paid 13 bucks to get Düsenberg reviewed on garageband.com... We'll see what happens. The first review is in by the way... Looking good!

"Wow. That chorus is amazing, powerful, catchy, the lyrics and sound really come together. I love the overdubs around 1:35. This song is almost genius, guys."

Kashmir!

I bought a christmaspresent for myself today. A cd with danish act Kashmir, who are my favourite band right now. In 2003 they released a record called "Zitilites". It's a masterpiece. You should check it out! /Makkan

Bass vs. Drums

Old men trying to settle an agreement...

The transformation of a band

Voyager was formed in late ´96 as a part of the "stoner-rock" movement. We managed to release one Ep in ´99 "Four bastards trying to sort things out" which was picked up by Meteor City Records as a part of the old "single of the month club". Later we got a lousy record deal and released an album in ´01 "Dead tunes for the unwanted". Then things got slow. Fucked up label, lack of inspiration, moving to different cities, I guess you call it life.

We went into a coma.

Rebirth in ´05. As a three piece we named ourselves The Saigon Sickness and started to write again, all new sounds and emotions. We wanted to make it right this time and after a couple of demos we hooked up with our old friend Mattias Finn (Producer/live guitars), built a studio in my parents house in June ´07 and did our best recording to date

Now we’ve decided what to do with our lives. The songs we recorded this summer is the first part of what will be a full album. Since the collaboration with Finn worked amazingly well, we simply just want to continue the session. In the best of worlds we will finish another two songs during spring and then finish the whole thing up in the summer of ´08. This will give us enough time to work on new material, and some great stuff are popping out of our heads already.

Since we don’t have a label we’ll do everything by ourselves, but as you may understand we need tons of support in this project... So you who read this and dig the music... Just spread the word... Please...

Yours truly
/Makkan (on behalf of the rest of the band)
